Eric-Claus  singer songwritter,  has been entertaining for most of his life.   At the age of 10, formed band "THE EARTH'S SHADOW" in 1966 performed

with "THE OUTCASTS" highlights included a spot on the Zacherly show at Symphony Hall, Newark NJ.

Thereafter reformed "THE EARTH'S SHADOW" working school dances.   At the age of 17, obtained a special permit to perform in night clubs

with "THE COMMOTIONS"  the following year an opportunity presented Eric-Claus to perform with "THE 1910 FRUITGUM COMPANY" the highlight

of which were concert performances in the Philadelphia area, one special date being a show at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia hosted by

the one and only Dr. Shock.

 

During the 70's, Eric-Claus joined "The SPIRIT of LOVE" the band performed night-clubs in the central jersey area.

Highlights included opening for :    "the Mellow Kings"  hit song:Tonight, Tonight

                                                               "the Fire Flies"    hit song: You Were Mine

 

In the later part of the nineteen-seventies and early nineteen-eighties, Eric-Claus performed as a solo artist in venues and clubs covering north-central and the shore of New Jersey.

 

Then in the mid-nineteen-nineties, he met Freddy Wales and they formed "The blues Edge".

The band recorded their first album in 1999 entitled "Dark Room".

Air-play on local radio and college stations gave the band a chance to work clubs and concert events in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York music scene.

In 2001 "The blues Edge" went on to record "Mind over Matter", the band continued to perform in various clubs in the tri-state area.

Highlights included:      an interview with Tom Crowley on WESS 90.3 FM, East Stroudsburg, PA

                                          Shawnee Balloon Festival, concert event Shawnee-on-the-Delaware, PA      

                                          Sound Effects Records, concert event Hackettstown, NJ

                                          Kenny's Castaways, NYC

 

Throughout his career, Eric-Claus has had the opportunity to meet, perform and associate with many talented people in the music industry.

 

To this day, Eric-Claus continues to perform and entertain audience throughout the north and central area of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
